The CT153 is a split-core current transducer designed to support long-term current logging when used with the ACR SRX3 Current Data Logger. It is intended for applications where current needs to be measured over extended periods—such as load studies, energy audits, and utility or industrial monitoring—without interrupting service or disconnecting conductors.
Unlike handle-style clamp probes commonly used for spot checking, the CT153 is designed for clamp-and-leave installations. Once installed, it can remain in place inside a closed electrical panel for days, weeks, or months, making it well suited for multi-phase monitoring and deployments where panel space and clearance are limited.
The CT153 offers field-selectable current ranges, allowing installers to right-size the measurement based on the expected load. This flexibility reduces the need to carry multiple CT models while still supporting accurate current logging across a range of applications.
When paired with the SRX3, the CT153 provides a practical balance of flexibility, compact size, and ease of installation, well suited to long-term current monitoring applications.
ACR software tools are intuitive and flexible, allowing you to easily configure ACR data loggers to collect the data you need. Once downloaded, your data is displayed in presentation-quality graphs and can be converted into popular formats for use with spreadsheet programs, document editors, and other third-party applications.
