The Strain Relief Box is a rugged enclosure that mounts over the 11-pin terminal block on SRX loggers—and is also fully compatible with SmartReader Plus and legacy SmartReader models. It provides a sealed cable entry system with a built-in cable gland that grips and secures the external wires. By absorbing movement and tension, the strain relief system prevents that stress from reaching the terminal block connections, helping to maintain reliable signal integrity over time.
This accessory is especially useful in environments where wires are subject to repeated handling, vibration, or tension—such as mobile setups, industrial sites, or long-term outdoor deployments.
Key Features:
Durable plastic housing for added protection over the terminal block
Built-in cable gland relieves strain and seals the cable entry point
Offloads mechanical stress from the terminal block connections
Compatible with all SRX, SmartReader Plus, and legacy SmartReader loggers using the 11-pin terminal block
Ideal for mobile, industrial, and long-term monitoring setups
Installation Tip:
Connect the wires to the terminal block first, ensuring correct polarity and wire slack. Then position the strain relief box over the block and secure it in place. Tighten the cable gland to grip the cable and complete the seal.
ACR software tools are intuitive and flexible, allowing you to easily configure ACR data loggers to collect the data you need. Once downloaded, your data is displayed in presentation-quality graphs and can be converted into popular formats for use with spreadsheet programs, document editors, and other third-party applications.
Data loggers are often used in highly regulated environments such as food and pharmaceutical production and storage where strict safety regulations apply. Regulatory agencies generally require proof of calibration.
ACR calibrations are performed using reference standards that have been calibrated and are traceable to the US National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). This ensures that all ACR data loggers meet, and perform to, their published specifications, allowing you to be confident that they will assist you in achieving your compliance requirements.
Calibration certificates are provided with every calibration we perform. ACR Systems is an ISO 9001:2015 registered company and calibration records are kept as part of our quality system and can be made available for customer audits.
