The SRX2 is purpose-built for applications where accurate temperature and relative humidity data must be collected over long periods with minimal maintenance. It combines onboard temperature and RH sensing with support for one optional remote temperature and RH probe, allowing conditions to be monitored in two locations simultaneously—such as ambient room conditions and the interior of a duct, enclosure, or storage space.
Relative humidity is measured over a full 0–100 %RH range with ±3 %RH accuracy, providing dependable data for building monitoring, environmental diagnostics, pharmaceutical storage, and general facility applications. A wide operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C supports use in both indoor and demanding environments.
SRX2 is designed for unattended operation. A typical battery life of up to 10 years under normal operating conditions minimizes servicing requirements, while a 1 million reading onboard memory supports long deployments even at relatively short sample intervals. Flexible logging modes allow users to tailor data collection to the application, whether monitoring slow environmental changes or capturing shorter-term events.
Alarm thresholds can be configured to flag out-of-range conditions, providing visual indication and recorded events that help users quickly identify excursions or system issues.
While SRX2 is first and foremost a temperature and humidity logger, it also includes additional analog input channels for applications that require more advanced measurements. These include two 4–20 mA current inputs, as well as dedicated 0–5 V and 0–10 V DC inputs, enabling connection to common transmitters such as pressure, airflow, or level sensors when needed.
These optional inputs allow environmental data to be correlated with system or process signals, without changing the core role of the logger.
SRX2 is configured, downloaded, and analyzed using ACR’s TRX Software for Windows. TRX provides an intuitive interface for graphing temperature, humidity, and analog input data on a shared time axis, allowing users to zoom into events, review trends, and generate reports for documentation or record keeping. Data can be exported to common file formats for further analysis or archiving.
To support accuracy and compliance requirements, NIST-traceable calibration is available, along with recalibration services to maintain performance over the life of the device.
